Janelle Mojena
Administrative and Design Assistant
Joining DSI in 2009, Janelle initially brought administrative and banking experience from her previous positions at Bank of America and Bank Atlantic in Florida.
Janelle's earlier role at DSI was to mange the administrative duties for DSI and SPI, out in house procurement company. This role was then expanded to include assistance in the coordination of manufacturer's representatives, vendor presentations and the DSI in house resource library.
Currently, Janelle is studying Interior Design and in concert with that, her role has been expanded yet again, to include assistance with the sourcing of materials, finishes and FF&E items, and assisting in the selection, presentation and specification of materials and FF&E on design projects. Her involvement on projects includes assisting in the design presentations for the Tamarind Hotel, Barbados and The Atlantic Hotel, Ft. Lauderdale.
In addition to these duties and responsibilities, Janelle assists in the production of marketing material for the company, the responses to Requests for Proposals and the business development initiatives for DSI and SPI.
As well as being fully versed in Microsoft Office, Janelle's skills also include Adobe Photoshop CS.
